Greece’s most glamorous isle gets chic new resort

Set on a private section of one of the longest beaches on Mykonos, Myconian Avaton will open its doors in May, providing contemporary chic and stunning vistas over the Aegean for incentive groups looking to enjoy all the Greek island has to offer.

In keeping with the timeless Cycladic architecture tradition, the hotel presents a stunning and soothing blend of local stone, white walls, and wooden windows. The 85 guest rooms, suites, and two- to four-bedroom villas run from 26 to 200 square meters, some boasting private pools and Jacuzzis.

From its bathrooms, which present handcrafted wooden washbasins harmonizing beautifully with marvellous granite slabs, to its sun-filled open spaces, which are minimally dappled with bright colours and a mix of modern and vintage styles, the hotel presents luxury that feels original yet also very much of the island.

The hotel’s culinary offerings can be enjoyed indoors at Myconian Avaton’s gourmet restaurant or al fresco next to its pool. All the local produce served here is grown exclusively, while a local provider catches seafood in the waters around Delos solely for his family and the hotel’s chef.

A fully equipped spa and wellness facility is also available.

Just 10 kilometres from Mykonos’ capital, the famous Elia Beach is the longest sandy beach on Mykonos, with an array of dining and drinking options, as well as well as opportunities for water-skiing, parasailing, and windsurfing.

Myconian Avaton is part of Design Hotels.
