#Foodiegram from… Bridges, Amsterdam

This week’s Foodiegram comes from the very heart of Amsterdam. Nestling along one of the city’s oldest canals is a hidden gem of a restaurant, which is popular with visitors and locals alike. Bridges restaurant at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, offers traditional and flavoursome lunches from classic burgers to seafood dishes during the day, while at night, cocktails and wine flights complement the menus.

The newly renovated restaurant is home to a number of different areas, each offering a distinct menu. Bridges Dining, the Michelin-starred fish restaurant, offers five and six-course menus while the chef’s table is a memorable option for groups of six looking for bespoke culinary experience.

Executive chef Andrès uses international influences in his creations and gives them a unique, personal twist while wine director Lotte Wolf has an impressive selection of wines to create the perfect pairings for each dish.

Meanwhile, Bridges BarBistro offers an all-day menu with flavours from around the world to please the most discerning of travellers, including wagyu beef mini burgers, lobster cocktail and Dutch charcuterie.

Finish the evening with a glance at the delightful selection of cocktails, taking your pick from the lychee bellinis, legendary juleps and the Flying Dutchman mai tai.
