Experience this…Corinthia escapes

Keen to encourage business travellers to use their time away from boardroom wisely by exploring their surrounds, Corinthia Hotels has developed a series of local adventures all within close proximity to their properties.

When in Budapest, guests can take a post-meeting stroll to St Stephen’s Basilica and climb the 364 steps to the observation deck, see the city from the Danube river on a sightseeing boat trip or simply relax in an outdoor thermal bath.

In Lisbon, the world heritage site of the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos (main image) with its 15th century monastery, cloisters and gargoyles is worth a visit as is a trip on the steep vertical funicular, Elevador da Gloria.

Corinthia’s Maltese properties offer a chance to explore the cavernous underground structure of the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum in Paola while spare time in Prague must be filled with a walk around the city’s awe-inspiring ancient castle.

In St Petersburg, the Imperial Easter Eggs of Carl Fabergé are on display in his eponymous museum. Meanwhile, back in London, a short walk from the hotel along The Mall will be rewarded with a marching band and the Changing of the Guard.
