#Foodiegram from… Dalloway Terrace, The Bloomsbury Hotel

The Dalloway Terrace at London’s Bloomsbury Hotel will be buzzing this spring, rather literally, as the elegant hotspot will be transformed with a bee-inspired interior to highlight the tiny creature’s important role in the ecosystem.

English wild flowers create a riot of colour across the terrace, in an installation created by Wild at Heart’s master florist Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart while oversized bees laced within the meadow styled blossom at a touch of quintessentially-British quirkiness to the backdrop.

Book the honey bee themed afternoon team, created by recently appointed head pastry chef, Chris Dodd, of Tredwell’s and Café Royal fame, and enjoy honey roast ham and English mustard sandwiches followed by vanilla and Morello cherry scones served with clotted cream, raw honey and homemade jam. Save room for the lemon shortbread served with lavender honey and blueberry cream crowned with a blueberry glaze.

Those with less of a sweet tooth can sample the new seasonal dining menu or try the Bee’s Knees cocktail which fuses Hayman’s gin, fresh pressed lemon and London honey, with a donation to the Bumble Bee Conservation Trust made for every drink purchased.
