Foodiegram… Cakes & Bubbles

The Hotel Café Royal has a deservedly high reputation for its gastronomy and this is set to rise even further with the unveiling of Cakes & Bubbles by famed chef Albert Adria in November. Together with his brother Ferran, Adria led the culinary explosion that was the launch of legendary Michelin three-starred elBulli.

Following a successful pop-up at Hotel Café Royal in 2016, Adrià returns to launch his first permanent establishment outside of his native Spain.

Cakes and Bubbles will offer an array of exceptional desserts created to delight diners, from the man who was voted The World’s Best Pastry Chef by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Sample his classically Spanish signature ‘cheesecake’ before tucking in to his egg flan with dark caramel and  doughnut creations.

Memorable fruit cakes include pineapple with palm honey and strawberries with fresh orange juice, while the Airwaffles with caramelised banana and chocolate ninyoyaki cake balls must not be missed. A wide selection of Champagnes and sparkling wines are served by both the glass and by the bottle to accompany Adrià’s epic foodie creations.

Hotel Café Royal, part of The Set Hotels group, enjoys an unrivalled setting on Regent Street, just steps from Piccadilly. A London landmark, the hotel features 160 contemporary rooms, including 54 suites and seven signature suites.
