60 seconds with… TRIPTICH Travel and Events

TRIPTICH Travel and Events is a young and dynamic agency offering creative solutions for both private travellers and corporate groups. Before founding TRIPTICH, Philippe Ducarroz (pictured right) had been working as an agent for more than ten years in Paris looking after the travel and MICE programmes for several brands in the fashion industry. Matteo Marin (pictured left) worked in hotel MICE sales and has an extensive knowledge of the contemporary travel market.

Brand promise
TRIPTICH Travel and Events aims to deliver logistically solid yet fun events, working only with the best suppliers of the contemporary travel market. We have a family “hands on” approach from proposal to billing.

What’s #trending in 2019?
We are going through an exciting period. Large corporate clients have been everywhere and they still want to explore new “exotic” destinations in EMEA. Of course, these new destinations need to be within a short distance from international airports, safe, fun and suitable for a two-three day trip. Great opportunities are available for Scandinavia, Alps, Eastern Europe and destinations like Montenegro or Georgia.

The more mature destinations will need to review their offer and come up with exciting new experiences that can be done onsite. It will be necessary for accommodation suppliers to team up a bit closer with DMCs and the other way around. The destination will need to be offered from the moment of the proposal – a nice hotel within a charming city centre is not enough anymore.

Proud moment
We opened TRIPTICH from scratch with only one client. There is still a lot of work to do but in less than three years we achieved a lot and we are now working on some global projects for some big-boys-clients. It feels so good. Final word…
It is always exciting and useful to meet other agents and suppliers from around the world. The MICE market is full of opportunities and creativity, however, only with personal offline connections we will be able to design innovative solutions to exceed our (demanding) clients’ expectations.
