Designed by Belmond to bring their guests closer to the destination and people who keep culinary traditions and food of provenance alive, the experiences can be tailored to the individual with experiences including breakfast in the wild, getting up close and personal to the elephants at the Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge in Botswana and tequila rituals on a Mayan beach.

For those seeking the ultimate adventure and willing to surrender to complete cultural immersion, two new culinary journeys have launched, exploring the luscious landscapes of Peru and South East Asia by land, rail and river.

The Grand Culinary Tour of Asia is a decadent 14-night epicurean adventure visiting Belmond’s hotels in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Indonesia, plus a river cruiser and hotel in Myanmar and luxury train travelling through Thailand through Malaysia to Singapore.

The ten-night Great Food Adventure in Peru includes a tour of the vibrant Lima, through to the rugged beauty of the Andes and the floating islands of Lake Titicaca. Travellers will learn the traditional art of Peruvian Ceviche making in Lima and enjoy a private dining experience in Colca Canyon.
