inVOYAGE 2018 to feature luxury hotel trends panel session

inVOYAGE 2018 will explore the rise of the luxury hotel ‘experience’ offering in a panel session featuring senior representatives from Hilton Luxury and Belmond and corporate and agency event professionals.

With competition for bookings more intense than ever, luxury hotel brands are increasingly trying to differentiate themselves by capitalising on the booming “experience economy”, creating a range of unique and authentic experiences that immerse guests in the local culture and environment.

Moderated by industry expert Andrew Sheivachman, business travel editor at Skift, the panel session will explore what’s driving this trend and what it means for the luxury MICE sector. The session will cover the evolution of the luxury traveller, what they are demanding from hotels now and in the future, and the importance of “brand” when pitching a hotel for luxury meetings and incentives .

The panel will feature Stuart Mason, SVP Commercial, Revenue and Distribution, Belmond; Dominique Piquemal, Vice President Operations EMEA at Hilton Luxury; Steve Hodges, Director of Incentive Travel, Mary Kay Corp; plus several senior event agency professionals.

Richard Joslin, founder & CEO at inVOYAGE said: “We’re seriously excited about this panel where the hard questions are going to be posed by SKIFT’s Andrew Sheivachman to a group of seriously senior events and hospitality professionals at a time when the luxury hotels sector is morphing and transitioning to further engage the lifestyle mindset of today’s customer and the corporate workforce of all our clients’ incentives and events.”

The panel session will form part of the inSIGHTS Conference at this year’s inVOYAGE, which takes place on 1-4 October at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah.
