Marriott’s Moxy brand takes Chicago

Marriott International has debuted its Moxy brand in the Windy City, taking its US tally to seven. The Moxy Chicago has opened in the River North neighbourhood, bringing its signature playful style to the city, in a contemporary property boasting 156 rooms.

The sleek, tech-enabled rooms feature smart televisions and motion-sensor lighting, while the communal spaces bring a touch of industrial-chic to the hotel, with modern and vintage inspired furnishings.

The place to see and be seen is Bar Moxy, the social heartbeat of the property, where guests can eat, drink, simply hang out and also use as the check in area. After dark, happy hour kicks in, featuring an OTM curated music program with DJs and the Moxy SoundOff booth, featuring live podcasting and psychic readings.

Food cravings can be sated at Zombie Taco, Moxy’s food truck inspired concept which serves tacos, healthy bowls and burritos while the morning after a night out in this dynamic city starts at Moxy Pick-Ups, where locally roasted coffee and freshly baked goods complement the locally-sourced grab-and-go snacks.
