Kempinski to expand in Tanzania with three new properties

 
 

High-end hotel brand Kempinski has announced plans to open two safari lodges and a luxurious tented camp in Tanzania.

Scheduled to open in 2023, all three properties are set in Tanzania’s popular wilderness sites, making them ideal for incentive groups looking immerse themselves in nature and enjoy some of the world’s most diverse safari experiences.

Kempinski Longosa Lodge Serengeti will offer 75 rooms, bars and lounges, dining area with decks and outdoor cooking, fire pit, outdoor pool and wellness area. It is located in the heart of the animal migration corridor in the Serengeti National Park, a World Heritage Site and well-known wildlife conservation area.

Placed on a ridge overlooking the lake and deep gorges, Kempinski Msasa Lodge Lake Manyara is a luxurious tented camp offers access to world class game viewing and exceptional birdlife variety.

It will offer 19 tents with terrace and outdoor showers, two junior suite tents with an outside pool as well as two family tents with two rooms.

The 75-room Kempinski Kitbong Hill Tarangire, surrounded by splendid Baobab trees in the heart of Tarangire National Park, is not only a haven for wildlife viewing, but also for bird enthusiasts as it boasts more than 550 species.

While each of the properties can be enjoyed individually, Kempinski says them combine well for roundtrips.

Kempinski has signed a management contract with Helios Lodges Company for the three new properties.
