A luxury Bulgari Hotel, the world’s first indoor urban maze, plus an enchanted outdoor rooftop venue are just three of the new developments event planners should check out in the emirate…
1) The Bulgari Resort & Residences Dubai
Debuting in December, The Bulgari Resort & Residences Dubai is situated on the exclusive, manmade Jumeira Bay, an island carved into the shape of a seahorse and adjoined by a 300m bridge to central Dubai coastline. Featuring 101-rooms, as well as 20 Bulgari villas with pool, garden and sea-view, the property also features gourmet dining options, a 1,700 square-metre spa, an exclusive beach Club with private beach and a unique mosaic-design outdoor swimming pool, plus Bulgari’s first-ever Marina and Yacht Club. Located in the Yacht Club, a ballroom featuring modern Italian design can accommodate 200 guests and will provide sweeping seaside views across a plate glass wall, looking out towards the setting sun.
2) The Secret Terrace, Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay
Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay in Dubai unveiled its new venue, The Secret Terrace in October, billed as ‘a sparkly and enchanted spot to unwind and hang out, with a chilled rooftop vibe’. The Secret Terrace offers a Thai street-food style menu of small bites, pass-arounds and sharing platters, alongside a broad selection of cocktails and wine. Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay general manager Stephen Meredith says: “We wanted to come up with something new in the ever-changing culinary landscape of Dubai. This is no ordinary place – sometimes you just want to sit and enjoy a nice evening out without too much noise. That’s how the Secret Terrace was born.”
Set to open in Al Barsha this month, Jumble describes itself as the world’s first indoor urban maze and an unconventional gaming experience. Details of the venue are being kept under wraps until launch, but the 3,500 square-metre space is a huge maze, featuring random varied challenges that push your logic, reasoning, athleticism and teamwork skills with a series of physical and mental tests. It’ll provide a unique team-building or incentive option and be ideal for groups that taking on the challenge of ever-popular escape rooms.
