Luxury adventures at Rome Cavalieri

Visitors to the best-loved Rome Cavalieri, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, have five brand-new luxury adventures to choose from this summer, each one designed to evoke stories from Rome’s cultured past through art, architecture, gastronomy, horticulture and for intrepid travellers –  island-hopping.

With its collection of masters’ paintings, rare tapestries, sculptures and artefacts, the Rome Cavalieri could be a museum in its own right. Enjoy the Tea with Tiepolo experience, which includes a tour by an art historian of the hotel’s private collection followed by afternoon tea in the Tiepolo Lounge.

Foodies will be in gastronomy heaven with the Roman Food Tour which includes an olive oil tasting, a home-made pasta masterclass and gelato-making class at Giolitti, Rome’s oldest ice cream parlour. 

Additional experiences include a private tour of the baroque masterpiece that is the Galleria Colonna, one of Rome’s finest halls, a private tour walking in the footsteps of the Pope himself within the Vatican Gardens and island-hopping around the stunning Pontine Islands, enjoying snorkelling in the clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
