Amstar unveils new signature experiences in Mexico

Those brilliant folk at Amstar DMC have come up with some new signature experiences that are certain to feature on many a discerning traveller’s bucket list.

Whether it’s cultural escapades, foodie experiences or exclusive expeditions to nature’s hidden spots – there are signature experiences for every need and preference.

Adventurous groups can on an underground river and caving adventure in the Mexican Caribbean with the Rio Secreto Privilege Signature Experience.

The Yucatan Peninsula with its incredible sinkholes are waiting to be explored on the Xenotes Cancun tour. The day-long adventure sees guests enter the Xenotes eco-park and navigate their way through the jungles of Puerto Morelos, following the ‘sinkhole route’ through some of the most appealing freshwater sites. There are different activities to try out at each spot from zip lining to rappelling, snorkelling and tubing to kayaking.

Historians will be eager to board the deluxe bus to Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, for a guided tour through the hallowed grounds of the ancient Mayan city. Cameras will be at the ready for historic landmarks such as the Temple of Kukulcan, the Observatory plus pyramids and temples.

The Los Cabos list includes a truly majestic experience of whale watching in Baja California. From December to March, guests can enjoy an expedition to spot humpback or grey whales, taking in Cabo landmarks such as the sea lion colony and Lovers Beach along the way.

And for those that love being out on the water, why not end the day with a sunset dinner cruise? Onboard the luxury catamaran, a freshly made Mexican buffet is served alongside sundowner cocktails and frozen margaritas.
