The Augustine, a Luxury Collection Hotel, located within Prague’s gorgeous Malá Strana district and beneath the castle, is set to celebrate its tenth anniversary this year.

Popular with locals and discerning travellers, the property sprawls out across seven buildings, blending monastic history with contemporary hospitality.

Enter inside the historic buildings and admire the ceiling frescos and religious statues that remain next to the luxury that designer Olga Polizzi has created through modern furnishings and artworks.

And what finer way to toast the property’s anniversary than with the launch of a Champagne bar? To celebrate the landmark occasion, the hotel has teamed up with Perrier-Jouët to launch its first Champagne bar.

Set in the most peaceful surrounding, the terrace inside the former Augustinian monastery has been transformed with blooming flowers to represent the Perrier-Jouët brand, and once at the bar, guests can choose from a number of Champagnes including Perrier-Jouët, Belle-Époque and Blanc de Blancs 2006.

After enjoying this secret pop-up, guests can either spend a quiet afternoon perusing vintage books in the monastery’s secret library or visit the brick-walled Brewery Bar where the monks first concocted St Thomas’s beer back in 1352.
