Culture

The Belmond Andean Explorer travels between Cusco and Arequipa; it can accommodate groups of up to 70 and can be chartered (9 Suite Cabins, 17 Twin Bed Cabins, 9 Bunk Bed Cabins. The train journey captures the wonder of the landscape but also offers many interesting outings. Guests can visit the floating islands of Uros, which is reached by traditional boat. These man-made islands, constructed from interwoven reeds, are unique to the region. The villagers also use these reeds for their homes, ships and tools.

Another sight not to be missed is world-famous Machu Picchu, which can be reached in style aboard the Belmond Hiram Bingham. The train accommodates 84 people and can be chartered. Traditional food is served, and live music played throughout the journey. A convivial atmosphere and unforgettable moments are guaranteed.
