Checking In: Blique by Nobis

Set where the up and coming Hagastaden meets trendy Vasastaden, also known as the Stockholm gallery district due to the volume of art galleries within its vicinity, Blique by Nobis bills itself as a “contemporary community where architecture and design coexists with the art of social interaction”.

This translates as a super sleek property complete with a number of social spaces and enviable design. The property opened at the end of April and comprises a sleek hotel, two restaurants, several bars and flexible spaces for events – all of which are housed in a contemporary building created by the architect Sigurd Lewerentz.

Designed to be a home for creative thinkers, the rooms at Blique by Nobis are split between a former warehouse for Philips and a house from the 90s.

But this isn’t a place to come and rest, Blique by Nobis cries out to be discovered – with restaurant options including Boketto, which serves European and Asian cuisine, while Scandinavian seafood and Korean dishes are served at Arc, the rooftop restaurant and bar. After spending the day in the creative hub, which forms the lounge, head to Origo bar to unwind over a cocktail.

Events options abound here, from the Blomsterkiosken, which can seat 200, through to the ten meeting rooms, the cinema space and the courtyard for outdoor gatherings. VIP groups will adore the exclusivity of the rooftop terrace.

Nobis Collection will be attending inVOYAGE 2019 on 6-9 October in Monaco.
