Checking In: The Palm’s new Atlantis resort

Who can resist an aquaventure? Certainly not visitors to Atlantis The Palm, one of Dubai’s most popular resorts for both business and leisure. And while on the Palm, why not check out fellow sister property, The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences, which is set to open at the end of next year?

This neighbouring resort will offer its own distinctly opulent vibe with two properties stretching out across a whopping 63 hectares of land and more than 2km of beachfront.

The newest behemoth on the emirate will be 43 storeys high and approximately 185 metres above sea level, with the infinity Sky Pool on level 22 offering incredible views across the city.

Brace yourself for the unusual – the lobby bar area will be home to the world’s largest…jellyfish tank, housing approximately 2,000 jellyfish. This will be complemented by three additional aquaria.

Meetings spaces abound and include a 1000sqm ballroom for 660 guests and six meeting rooms. But this is a place to party, with 13 bars and restaurants on show including Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Hakkasan and Milos by Costas Spiliadis.

Atlantis The Palm will be attending inVOYAGE 2019 on 6-9 October in Monaco.
