Guests can set off from the Plantation Hut with a trail map and field guide and amble through the plantations, admiring the island’s striking flora and fauna and keeping their eyes peeled for local Turks and Caicos wildlife, which includes iguanas and geckos.

In the plantation cottages themselves, visitors can find out more about the bananas and coconuts before heading back to one of the slick rooms, suites and villas at COMO Parrot Cay and enjoying the stylish surrounds.
