Experience this… Gastronomy at The Goring

As the temperature drops in the capital, where better to treat yourself to a cosy lunch than London’s last remaining family-owned luxury hotel. The Goring is something of a grand English institution and service and home comforts are taken very seriously indeed, along with an undeniable sense of British wit.

Inside the hotel’s hotel’s flagship restaurant, The Dining Room, a menu of unashamedly British classics is on offer, created by executive chef, Shay Cooper.

The restaurant has justifiably bagged a Michelin star and three AA Rosettes, and this Spring, is set to be joined by a sister eatery. Book early to ensure a table at the new restaurant, specialising in seafood, with a heavy tilt towards Cornish produce.

Chef Nathan Outlaw will be creating simple seafood dishes that showcase the very best produce, which will be served in an ornate orangery with views over the hotel’s secluded garden.

The hotel’s bar is also set to be overhauled in to a bright vibrant space serving classic cocktails and British spirits, underpinning The Goring’s aim to offer an impeccably English experience.
