Fairmont to open in Royal Windsor

Accor has announced plans to bring its Fairmont brand to Royal Windsor in the UK in partnership with Arora Group.

Fairmont Windsor Park is scheduled to open in the second half of 2020 and will be located on the site of the former Savills Court Hotel and Spa, owned by Arora.

The property, located adjacent to Windsor Great Park and Savill Gardens, is currently undergoing a substantial multi-million pound redevelopment.

It will offer over 200 bedrooms and suites and a 2,500 square metre spa and wellness area, featuring an indoor lap pool and outdoor vitality pool, treatment rooms, salt room, Hammam and Japanese foot spa with views over the courtyard and fire pit.

As part of its food and beverage offering, the hotel will have a tea lounge, specialist dining restaurant, a champagne bar and an all-day dining venue offering dishes prepared with locally sourced ingredients, incorporating a private dining space and a gin bar.

For meetings and events there will 16 rooms including an 800 sqm pillar-free ballroom with capacity for up to 700 guests, as well as landscaped gardens for outdoor functions.

Fairmont Windsor Park will join London’s The Savoy, and Fairmont St Andrews, as the third Fairmont-managed hotel in the UK.
