Mark your diaries now for the relaunch of the new Le Grand Hotel Dinard this spring. This elegant property closed its doors back in November 2018 for a painstaking renovation, as part of the Barrière Group’s plans to upgrade all of its existing properties.

Set overlooking the stunning Baie de la Vicomte, Le Grand Hotel Dinard has been given a complete makeover by respected interior designer Alexandre Danan, a long time collaborator with the group.

Expect to see a return to the splendour of yesteryear, following Danan’s restoration and modernisation, taking the property right back to its roots in 1858, when royalty would grace its spaces and enjoy its striking location looking out towards the ramparts of Saint-Malo.

The days of its Belle Époque gatherings can easily be remembered in the revamped yet opulent rooms, evoking a time when the resort would welcome the likes of Lawrence of Arabia, Winston Churchill, Victor Hugo, Agatha Christie and Pablo Picasso.

Each of the rooms and suites will be appointed with deep ocean tones of blues and greens, while the public areas including the lobby, bar, fitness suite and reception rooms will be given a stylish revamp.
