Michelin dining at Penha Longa, Portugal

Gorgeous Penha Longa has a pretty established set of fans, utterly taken with its location by the Sintra mountains, and surrounded by verdant gardens and calming lakes.

Indeed, the luxury resort has also a strong following with golf enthusiasts who frequent to try out the championship course, or wellness addicts who adore the health centre and spa.

Foodies can now join this growing list of aficionados, as the luxury gem offers a number of fine dining options for those with a discerning palate. The Sintra resort boasts two Michelin-starred eateries: Midori and chef Sergi Arola’s LAB.

The diminutive LAB has just 22 seats, affording a truly intimate experience where delightfully-plated dishes are served with a choice of wines from around the world.

Also renowned for incredible presentation on the plate is Midori, a contemporary Japanese restaurant, which overlooks the Sintra mountains. The menu manages to fuse all the layers and subtleties of flavours with products sourced from all over Portugal, resulting in a very memorable dining experience.

Penha Longa will be attending inVOYAGE 2019 on 6-9 October in Monaco.
