Ritz-Carlton Berlin reveals glam new look
Ever wondered what Berlin looked like in the 1920s? This glamorous era, the golden age of German cinema, has been recreated inside the recently refurbished Ritz-Carlton Berlin.
Following a €40 million renovation across all spaces, the property evokes all the style of the early 20th century, with details such as an ironwork staircase and a crystal chandelier.
Inside the rooms, geometric patterns symbolise the famed Potsdamer Platz, a public square in the centre of the city, and honour bars reflect the classic wardrobe boxes of silver screen idols.
