SevenEvents’ magical Marrakech incentive itinerary

Firmly back on the pitch list for 2020, Marrakech allows for a truly unique incentive experience where you can squeeze an abundance into a short space of time according to regular inVOYAGER SevenEvents. Here the agency shares a recent incentive itinerary organised for a financial client in the magical destination…

Souks bargain hunting

Upon arrival into Marrakech, the group were split into teams and handed a list of clues, a map and a cash allowance before being given 90 minutes to purchase a series of objects using their best bargaining skills. Heading straight to the medina and souks on arrival gives you a real sense of destination in this incredible city and is the perfect intro to fully immerse yourself into the culture.

Atlas Mountains hike

In our opinion, no visit to Marrakech is complete without a trip to the Atlas Mountains to experience a completely different pace of life compared to the bustling medina. During this full-day tour, we set off in a convoy of 4×4 jeeps to the foothills of the trek starting point, before tackling the rocky terrain and drinking up some spectacular views. For a truly memorable experience, lunch was served in a traditional Berber family home – a hearty and homecooked fare served in a peaceful sun-soaked courtyard.

Ziplining in Les Terres D’amanar

With a return flight home scheduled for the early evening, the morning was free to squeeze in one last activity. Whilst not for the faint-hearted, Terres D’amanar delivered a true adrenaline rush for those brave enough in the group, who soared through the skies and ziplined over the desert landscape with breath-taking views of the red city for miles.

YSL Museum and Majorelle Gardens

For those guests who were looking for a gentler paced final morning, we took them to the YSL Museum and simply stunning Majorelle Gardens. A clear must-visit on everyone’s Marrakech list, our group skipped the queues and were given a privately guided walk and explanation of the beautiful botanical gardens and former home of the iconic Yves Saint Laurent.
