Six Senses Ibiza steps up commitment to sustainability

Newly opened last summer Six Senses Ibiza has been phenomenally well-received by the luxury travel community and consumers alike. Its blend of elegant, modern style with the spiritual, creative culture Ibiza is well known for makes this a must-visit destination.

Not only that, but they are embracing one of this year’s hottest trends with a commitment to sustainability in all aspects of the resort.

On-site is a 400-year-old olive press and agricultural estate, where guests can take part in growing their own food. They will also have guest chefs dropping in to share their culinary secrets and host pop-up events – creating slow food that guests can truly follow from farm to plate.

As well as this they produce 10% of their required electricity from solar panels and Six Senses Ibiza will be the first sustainable BREEAM certified resort in the Balearics thanks to a considered and thoughtful approach to everything from operating systems, materials used and the local flora and fauna.
