Virgin Limited Edition launches Alpine wellness breaks

The mountains have always provided an incredible ambience to clear one’s head, so it’s fitting that Sir Richard Branson’s retreat, The Lodge, is now welcoming groups for wellness breaks high in the Swiss Alps.

The bespoke four-day retreats, led by Larah Davis, the founder of Ibiza Retreats and Wholeycow Verbier, deliver a relaxing yoga, ski and holistic break for those in need of a mountainside escape.

Guests will stay at The Lodge in Verbier, part of inVOYAGE 2020 partner Virgin Limited Edition’s luxury collection, while embarking on the most luxurious of wellness journeys, taking in sessions on looking after the mind, spirit and body, from the comfort of one of Verbier’s most exclusive lodges.

Pre-arrival wellness consultations are available as well as 1:1 back-to-life coaching with yoga therapy session. After meditation or yoga practice and mountain skiing, guests can unwind in the outdoor hot tub or enjoy a holistic massage or therapeutic treatment recommended by the wellness coach. In the evenings, restorative yoga, meditation or sound bath sessions are available before a healthy dinner created by the Michelin trained chefs, made using locally sourced ingredients.

Summer escapes are also available for those in need of Vitamin D. Guests will spend the days immersed in nature, enjoying hiking opportunities in the stunning Swiss mountains and al fresco dining as part of their personalised fitness and wellbeing journey.
