Mauritian experiences with Beachcomber

Beachcomber has increasingly become synonymous with Mauritius and with eight stunning properties in this idyllic destination including Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, Trou aux Biches and Shandrani Beachcomber Resort and Spa to name a few, it’s easy to see why.

The brand has introduced a programme of thrilling, relaxing or downright indulgent experiences for guests eager to explore the destination. First up, head to the Heritage Nature Reserve set in the iconic Bel Ombre estate, where activities include buggy, trail or quad biking through the lush vegetation.

If that sounds too energetic or land-based, head to the waters and experience dolphins in their natural habitat. Two types of dolphins can be spotted in Mauritius: the bottle-nosed and the spinner dolphin.

Marine tours can be arranged as the sun rises to make the most of the chances of spotting these friendly creatures and those wishing to venture out further down the coastline may be rewarded with a sighting of sperm whales which live in Mauritian waters all year, or if visiting between July and September, humpback whales. Flippers, masks and snorkels at the ready!

Adrenaline junkies can challenge themselves with a hike of Le Morne Brabant, an ascent which rewards its hardy hikers with the most stunning panoramic view of almost 360 degrees of the west and south at the top.

Beachcomber Hotels & Resorts are attending inVOYAGE 2019 on 6-9 October in Monaco.
