60 seconds with… Zanna Events’ director Emma Taylor

 

Having been in the event industry for 23 years, Emma decided to take the leap and set up her own agency in 2010 and has not looked back. The UK based agency offers corporate clients a venue finding service for events, accommodation, travel, hospitality, incentives as well as the full event management package. Emma will be joining us at inVOYAGE 2019 in Monaco this October.

Brand Promise
We offer a personal, bespoke service to our clients. I have a superb team behind me who have so much passion, enthusiasm and dedication and believe in the company and its ethics. We all work hard and play hard.

What trending in 2019?
We are finding that business is busy again in European and International destinations. Around 60% of our business is placed out of the UK and clients are wanting high end hotels as well as adding something unique. 

Luxury defined…
Luxury is all about the service you receive as the end user. The service the clients receive from start to finish is far more important than lavish food. 

Townhouse or Treehouse?
It has to be a Treehouse. I love the country, I find it so peaceful and relaxing – the perfect place to down tools and unwind.

The Bucket List
On the top of my list is a safari in Kenya.

Last Meal
I’ve just come back from Barcelona and went to a superb seafood restaurant called Barceloneta. The paella was out of this world, the best I have event tasted. Amazing food and an amazing dining experience.

Aperol or agua?
It has to be bubbles!

Old Fave
The Grand Hotel Convento in Amalfi, its a converted monastery located in the cliff top. A stunning hotel with breath taking views of the Amalfi coast. 

Proud moment
I would say it was when I set up Zanna Events and moved into our offices. It was wonderful to see our company name and logo above our office door knowing that the future was bright.

Bragging Rights
I feel so blessed to be part of this industry where we experience so many wonderful destinations, hotels and cultures. I was fortunate to meet Ben Fogul at an event, he is an amazing individual who has seen and travelled the world to its depths.

It’s all in the detail…
Communication is so very important from the start of the initial brief to completion. We focus on every single detail as soon as we receive a clients brief so we cover all areas.

What inspires you?
I am really inspired by people, I enjoy listening to other people’s views and experiences, you can learn so many new things in a simple conversation. 

Final word
I feel blessed to be part of this wonderful industry. Every day is different which I love. I have met some wonderful people on my journey so far and experienced some incredible destinations and amazing hotels. My team are my rock and I feel so lucky to have created Zanna Events and watching the company grow is so very rewarding.
