We’re thrilled to announce that inVOYAGE will make its debut in Switzerland in 2021 with a three-day event at the Bürgenstock Resort in Lucerne on 21-24 March.

The event will be the first-ever Spring edition of inVOYAGE, which brings together the very best luxury events agencies, corporate events teams, luxury hotels, DMCs and destinations for inspirational content, one-to-one meetings, networking and unforgettable experiences.

inVOYAGE Co-Founder and CEO Richard Joslin said: “We’re excited to be partnering with Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau, Lucerne Convention Bureau, Bürgenstock Resort and Bucher Travel to deliver an event against the breath-taking scenic backdrop of Lake Lucerne and the alpine mountains.

“If we didn’t already know it, one thing we’ve relearned over the past few months is that community and shared experiences are more valuable than ever. Luxury incentives and events play an incredibly powerful role as real enablers and engagement tools for forward thinking brands. inVOYAGE Lucerne will bring together the leading creators and facilitators of luxury incentives and events to inspire and be inspired.”

Head of Lucerne Convention Bureau, Sergio Roth added: “We are delighted to host inVOYAGE for the first time in Switzerland in the Lake Lucerne Region with our host venue Bürgenstock Resort. Excursions to the mountain Village Engelberg with famous Mt. Titlis and a gala dinner on the unique MS Diamant on Lake Lucerne perfectly round off this incredible programme. Our destination combines excellency in events with incredible attention to detail and a big portion of hospitality – and therefore builds on the same foundations as inVOYAGE Events, striving to deliver the best results possible.”

Luxury partners already confirmed to attend inVOYAGE Lucerne include the likes of Ibiza Gran Hotel, Waldorf Astoria, LXR & Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Evian Resort, LDC Italian Hotels, W Barcelona and Oetker Collection.

Located 500 metres above Lake Lucerne with stunning views over the Alps and Lake Lucerne, Bürgenstock Resort boasts four hotels, eight restaurants, numerous bars and lounges, 31 event spaces and the stunning Alpine Spa.

Bürgenstock Resort Director of Sales, Sven Flory, said: “The Bürgenstock Resort is the perfect place for the upcoming inVOYAGE event. The resort is packed with opportunities to create lasting memories and the proximity to Lucerne adds even more depth to crafting meaningful events. We are excited to welcome the inVOYAGE community to Lucerne as insightful discussions and building lasting connections are now more important than ever.”

Mario Würsch, owner of Bucher Travel, added: “We are very happy to be the DMC Partner for the inVOYAGE 2021 taking place in the Lake Lucerne Region. Especially during the currently situation, it is our opportunity to showcase the heart of Switzerland as a versatile destination, where fun traditions and exiting adventures, combined with state-of-the-art infrastructure can be experienced in a secure environment.”

inVOYAGE has scaled up to host two events for the first time in 2021. This follows the reschedule of inVOYAGE 2020, due to take place in Mykonos in October, as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 situation. inVOYAGE Mykonos will now take place on 3-6 October 2021, in partnership with the luxury Myconian Collection properties in Elia Beach and Horizon DMC.

“We made the decision to bring the industry a choice of two inVOYAGE events to create options, whilst also enabling us to run smaller and safer events. More than ever we are committed to serving inVOYAGERS by creating greater opportunity and connectivity, whilst ensuring the highest duty of care through our own practices as well as those of our partners,” commented Joslin.
