Nobu Chicago set for spring opening

The Windy City is set to welcome a new sleek property in to the fold this spring with the launch of the Nobu Hotel Chicago in the trendy West Loop neighbourhood.

Effortlessly blending traditional Japanese influences with design chic interiors, the property will feature 115 rooms and suites plus an indoor serenity pool and fitness centre.

Meeting facilities include a multi-use events suite, private dining rooms and a ballroom for up to 150, which benefits from a fantastic vista of the Chicago skyline.

But this collection of properties tends to draw a certain type of guest – one with a discerning palate. After a pre-dinner drink at The Rooftop, either in the indoor lounge or the outdoor terrace which looks out on to happening Chicago’s vibrant ‘Restaurant Row’, guests can venture to the signature Nobu restaurant on the ground floor, which features custom art pieces by Dutch artist Noor van Spaendonck and columns inspired by ancient samurai swords.

The world-famous Nobu cuisine can be enjoyed with signature dishes such as black cod miso, rock shrimp tempura and yellowtail sashimi with thin sliced jalapeño peppers all meticulously prepared and designed to delight.
