Three of the best incentive experiences in Vietnam

Vietnam’s incentive star is set to continue its ascendance in 2020 and beyond – so lucky then that inVOYAGE 2020 partner Destination Asia has a number of exciting experiences to delight travellers to the country.

Take a first stop in Hanoi for a tour on two wheels only – through the narrow streets of this intoxicating destination on a vintage Vespa. Zip along the railway tracks, stop at Ngoc Ha market to chat to the locals and travel out to a kumquat farm.

Next up is historic Ho Chi Minh City where the touring vehicle of choice is an open-top army jeep. The day takes in vestiges from the city’s past, with a visit to Tan Dinh marketplace, a French colonial haunt, plus a stop at Le Cong Kieu Street, with its antique stores.

Meanwhile, a trip to the city’s largest Buddhist pagoda, where local monks chant their daily prayers, followed by a viewing deck for a panoramic vista, is an insight into modern days in this bustling city.

Finally, for something ultimately more leisurely, why not venture to Hoi An for an evening of cocktail tasting in the secret venues that are tucked away in hidden alleyways?

During the walks to the venues, the guides will talk about the region and its heritage of welcome merchants who came to trade in the town. Five curated cocktails have been made especially for the tour and will be served alongside snacks to deliver an evening of local flavours and spices.

Destination Asia will be attending inVOYAGE 2020 in Mykonos this October.
